Asalha Puja / Dharma Day

Dharma Day, also known as Asalha Puja, is a Buddhist holiday that takes place in July. It commemorates the day that the Buddha gave his first sermon after reaching enlightenment, which is known as the “Sermon in the Deer Park”. This sermon is considered to be the foundation of Buddhist teachings, including the four noble truths and the eightfold path.
